I don't think that Ponyboy should have participated in the rumble. He was still recovering from the fire!
I think he should of participated in the rummble because he wanted to for jhony and when jhony died he got a chance to get his anger out on the soc's which made him feal a little better. I think he should have participatd in the rumble because the greasers were going to need everybody to take down the socs. Plus, Ponyboy was a good asset because of his agility.
